The primary landfill serving the Meridian area is WM Pine Ridge Landfill (also known as Pine Ridge Sanitary Landfill), located at 520 Murphy Road, Meridian, MS 39301. It has operated since the late 1960s and handles household, commercial, and industrial waste, with a companion compost facility on site.

• Hours: generally Monday–Friday, about 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed weekends.
